Use examples of soft consonance in one part and hard consonance in another to highlight the contrast between these places.’
What is consonance?
Consonance occurs when identical or similar consonants are repeated in neighbouring words with different vowel sounds. It can help to think of consonance as a counterpart to the repetition of vowel sounds termed ‘assonance’.
