This teaching pack contains full lesson plans for a series of six sessions on the Year 6 science topic of light, covering how light travels; reflectivity; how we see; refraction and reflection; light and colour; and shadows. Each lesson uses a practical activity and concentrates on a different scientific skill, such as making predictions or drawing conclusions. Also included is an exciting revision session during which children draw on everything they’ve learnt whilst studying the topic in order to complete an escape room challenge!
