Year 2 Adding Suffixes Make a Match - KS1 Grammar Game

This ‘Make a Match’ game is a fun way for pupils in year 2 to explore adding the suffixes -ed and -ing, applying spelling rules when adding these suffixes to different verbs. Pupils can match the words to the rule which needs to be applied when adding the suffixes.

The game can be played as a class or in small groups and is perfect for adult led interventions to revisit key knowledge and skills.
