Real Writing
Real Writing is built on a comprehensive, curriculum-linked framework devised by the literacy consultant Rachel Clarke, which covers the full writing programme of study for Years 1-6.
This powerful programme puts high-quality, skills-annotated model texts (25 per year group) at the heart of every lesson, and each unit provides you with an effective teaching sequence divided into three clear phases: familiarisation; teaching and rehearsing; and application.

Real Comprehension
Real Comprehension has been carefully developed by literacy experts Rachel Clarke, Ruth Baker-Leask, Christine Chen and Lindsay Pickton to ensure progression is built in from the start with opportunities for greater depth learning in every unit.
Thematically arranged texts covering fiction, non-fiction and poetry have been written by experienced children’s authors and are fully annotated for ease of teaching. Real Comprehension also provides comprehensive teaching sequences that build deeper understanding for ALL children through a variety of close-reading and guided reading techniques.
