This pack contains 21 posters that define some of the main grammatical terms children need to learn and understand in KS2.

Each poster puts grammar in context by highlighting an example of the term being discussed within a sentence, and matching lots of examples to an engaging central image.

This primary resource pack includes:

  • A4 Complete posters
These SPaG posters can go straight onto your classroom wall. The image is accompanied by text to illustrate the glossary term. Examples of the glossary term are provided. In some cases, this might be all possible examples; in others, only selected examples are provided.
  • A4 blank posters
The posters here include only the glossary term and the definition. The remaining text has been removed. The poster is ready for your class to add their own text in speech bubbles provided. These can then be arranged around the poster. Our example text bubbles can be included as well.
  • Giant posters
A large version of the blank poster. This can be printed off in four parts and assembled to create a larger display, with added elements as before.
  • Assets for blank A4 and giant posters
Various speech bubbles to print out, write on and stick to the blank posters.
  • Text-only posters
This poster contains the term, definition and an example sentence, with no image and no other text.
