Our passport to Y7 gives pupils in Y6 the opportunity to write information about themselves as part of their transition to secondary school. It should be printed as an A5 booklet.

It allows children the opportunity to reflect on their achievements at primary school and at home, with a section for them to complete looking forward to the exciting transfer to their new school.

This could be used at home or at school as part of the transition process. Pupils could also attach examples of work that they are proud of as part of their passport, and ultimately share the completed document with Year 7 teachers, to help build relationships in their new setting.
