UnderstandStudents write three sentences that each use a specific verb and adverb pair.
Challenge Students list two sets of four adverbs that can be used in the context of two different image prompts.
Test Students identify the adverbs within two set of sentences, before completing five partial sentences with adverbs of their choosing.
Explain ‘Using your own words, explain why we use adverbs in our writing.’
Apply
