In this session, Sue Drury shares some short activities that could be used in the classroom to develop English skills. All of the activities shown can be completed in 5 minutes once pupils know how they work, and could be used in those spare 5-10 minutes that teachers sometimes find that they have in the classroom. They could also be used as starters to engage pupils at the beginning of an English lesson. Sue has used all of the activities in her own classroom with children from years 1 through to year 6.
