Children’s Mental Health Week occurs during the the month of February. This whole school resource is based around the theme ‘People who help us grow’, exploring how, as children continue to grow as a person, others could help them to develop new skills or strategies to deal with a variety of situations in life.

The resource pack includes an assembly to introduce the theme to the whole school. Activities, with teaching notes, for both KS1 and KS2 are also provided, to help support pupils to learn that working on your mental wellbeing is as important as physical wellbeing and is part of normal daily life.

This primary resource pack includes:

  • Assembly PowerPoint slides and script
  • Lesson notes and worksheets: EYFS/ KS1
  • Lesson notes and worksheets: KS2
