Support your young learners to write a letter to Santa/Father Christmas using the letter writing template in this resource pack.
Talk about what children are excited about in the run up to Christmas and give them the opportunity to write or draw items that they would like Father Christmas to bring them. These letters can then, if appropriate, be discreetly shared with parents.
