This bookmark could be just the thing to support independent proofreading and editing in your classroom.
The attractive bookmark can be personalised to record three high frequency words that a pupil often misspells. A target of how many times this word should be spelled correctly can be included, with space for pupils to record how many times they have successfully spelt the HFW. The bookmark could be placed in writing books as a prompt when pupils are writing independently as a reminder to check the spelling of these target words.
