Many young children will have experienced helping to look after a pet. Explore pets and what is needed to care of them using this simple matching activity.
Children will explore images of pets and match the equipment that is needed to look after them. Opportunities for talking about pets are provided, as well as a worksheet where children can draw and write about their own pets, or pets that they would like to have.
This resource could be used on National Pet Day on 11th April.
